The Reds Academy side produced a breath-taking display of football as they beat Manchester United's Academy 3-2.
The Red roared into a 3 goal lead through Luke Waterfall, Jacob Butterfield and a Michael Coulson penalty.
Despite United pulling back two late goals, The Reds held on for a memorable victory.
Meanwhile the Reserves fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Birmingham today with all 3 goals coming in the opening 9minutes!
Birmingham went in front just 180 seconds in when Matthew Birley rifled home a great shot from the edge of the area.
The Reds were level within 2 minutes though.
Marc Richards put the drama of being accused of racist abuse behind him to drag The Reds level.
The on loan Ritchie Jones sent in a cross that caused chaos in the Birmingham area and the ball eventually fell to Richards from 6 yards who stabbed home.
Incredibly though Birmingham were back in front with the game just 9 minutes old.
Peter Kavanagh's right wing cross was met perfectly by Nick Wright who gave Kyle Letheren no chance.
