TYKESMAD BARNSLEY FC SEASON REVIEW 2007/2008

 

This is the ultimate season review of the Reds 2007/2008 campaign which saw plenty of twists and turns, comings and goings and of course, that magnificent cup-run. Here it is then, August to May, ten months of being put through the ringer every Saturday and some mid-weeks.

 

Summer signings included:

Kayode Odejayi £200,000 from Cheltenham, Miguel Mostto £400,000 from Cienciano, Marciano Bruma (now van Homoet) Free from Sparta Rotterdam, Rohan Ricketts Free from Wolves, Rob Kozluk Free from Sheffield United, Lewin Nyatanga (re-signed) On loan for 6 months from Derby, Dennis Souza Free from Charleroi, Andy Johnson free from Leicester and Dominik Werling on loan from Sakaryaspor for 6 months.
