Samuel meanwhile has spent his entire career with Graz where he is now captain and according to the Sheffield Star is looking to move to England.

They report:

"Already reports are pairing Davey's Championship side with Jurgen Samuel.

The 23-year-old midfielder is thought to be one of two Austrian internationals being considered by Davey and his coaching staff.

Barnsley would face still competition for Samuel.

Newly-promoted Hull as well as Championship rivals Plymouth and Birmingham are said to also be interested."

Samuel came off the bench in the 74th minute of Austria's 1-1 draw with Poland at Euro 2008 last night.
