Today's newspapers are reporting that Reds manager Mark Robins is interested in bringing Premier League strike duo David Healy and Jason Scotland to Oakwell.
Healy, 30, is currently at Sunderland having failed to impress in the top flight after time at Fulham. He has a proven track record in the Championship following spells with Leeds and Preston.
31-year-old Scotland made a £2m move from Swansea City to Wigan in the summer after 45 goals in two seasons for the Swans. He netted his first Latics goal yesterday in the Cup but has struggled in the league.
The News of the World reports a £2million double swoop for the two players, while the People reports the Reds are after 18-year-old Sunderland striker Ryan Noble.
Leaving Oakwell is striker Onome Sodje who has joined Slovakian side FC Senica. Sodje made one appearance after joining from York in the summer.
