Does need to score more but the former £5m man's reading of the game is second to none. His 8 goals and countless assists have been vital in his short time at the club. B
Dwayne Mattis
League 0(1): 0
FA Cup: 0: 0
League Cup: 1: 0
May go down as Davey's worst money acquisition. Signed from Bury for £50,000 he has looked out of depth at Championship level. Ironically though his only start this season saw a man of the match at Newcastle United, of all places. G
Grant McCann
League: 11(8) 3
FA Cup: 1: 0
League Cup: 1(1) 0
Many fans expected a big season from McCann this year but limited opportunities meant it never happen. A fantastic volley at Scunthorpe on New Year's Day will not be forgotten and he ended up moving to Glanford Park permanently 2 weeks later. D+
Miguel Mostto
League: 7(7) 1
FA Cup: 1: 0
League Cup: 2: 0
If there's a man to rival Mattis as worst money acquisition it could well be Miguel Mostto. After scoring a bucket full of goals in Peru, Davey snapped him up for £400,000 but he has looked completely lost in England. Just 1 goal (a simple headed tap-in against Burnley) does not show much for nearly half a million pound. Returned to Peru on loan in February and may end up staying. G
Heinz Muller

Wow! Mattis and Mostto may be duds but at £150,000 Muller was a snip! Some terrific displays typified never more so than when he played 45 minutes against Colchester with his knee totally destroyed! The injury in late January end his season but a firm fan favourite and many cannot wait for his return. A+
