Simon Davey will become the first Reds centurion manager since Danny Wilson on Saturday when he clocks up his 100th game in charge.
Wilson, who left in 1998 after the Premiership season, took charge of 201 games, and no manager since has managed that long at the helm.
Davey's official statistics are: Played 99 Won 35 Drawn 19 Lost 45. His biggest win is 4-1, against Ipswich and Doncaster. His biggest defeat is the 7-0 humbling at West Brom at the end of the 2006/2007 season.
Davey led Barnsley on the magical FA Cup run to the Semi Final at Wembley, beating Liverpool at Anfield and Chelsea at Oakwell along the way. He is set to pass the two year milestone on November 22nd, the day he took over as Caretaker following Andy Ritchie's sacking.
Since Wilson's departure, the Reds have had nine managers, including Davey. They were:
John Hendrie (1998-1999) 54 matches
Dave Bassett (1999-2000) 84 matches
Nigel Spackman (2001) 36 matches
Steve Parkin (2001-2002) 44 matches
Glyn Hodges (2002-2003) 35 matches
Gudjon Thordarson (2003-2004) 42 matches
Paul Hart (2004-2005) 51 matches
Andy Ritchie (2005-2006) 88 matches
Simon Davey (2006-present) 99*
