Caretaker boss Simon Davey will be without 3 maybe 4 big names for the return of the South Yorkshire derby at Oakwell.
After a year's absence Sheffield Wednesday visit Oakwell tomorrow with a massive 21,000 tickets already gone. This game has the potential to break the Oakwell seated attendance record of 22,650 set by the visit of Manchester City in 2000.
But Brian Howard, skipper Paul Reid and midfielder Sam Togwell will be missing.
Howard is still nursing his arm injury and Reid has failed to recover from his ankle problem. Togwell sits out with a one match suspension.
Neil Austin who limped off in the first half of the Boxing Day success over Burnley has trained this week but faces a late fitness test.
Sheffield Wednesday are looking for their first league victory at Oakwell since winning 3-0 back in 1980 but The Reds are also looking for their first home success over The Owls since also winning 3-0 in 2001.
The previous two Oakwell meetings have been pretty dull affairs finishing 1-1 and 0-0.
