Loanee midfielders Ronnie Wallwork and Kyel Reid will miss Saturday's crucial high noon relegation clash at Leeds United through suspension.
Wallwork who has played the full 90minutes in both games since joining on loan is suspended for picking up 5 bookings. He accumulated 4 at West Brom and was cautioned in the 1-0 win over
West Ham starlet Reid will also be missing after being sent off against Southend on Tuesday night. Reid who scored the crucial second goal and has changed the game in each of his two substitute appearances was shown two yellows, the 2nd in stoppage time.
The Reds are also facing a defensive crisis with central defenders Paul Reid and Antony Kay also struggling for the
Reid was forced to miss Tuesday's game with a groin strain and hasn't trained since.
Kay meanwhile also suffered a groin injury late on in the game on Tuesday and was forced to play up-front for the last few minutes.
Care-taker Boss Simon Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"Paul (Reid) is getting better. He is better than he was but we will still have to assess him before training.
Antony (Kay) will not train today and he has to be doubtful for the weekend"
Another loanee Grant McCann who grabbed the last gasp winner against Ipswich should return though after missing Tuesday night's with a dead leg he suffered on Saturday.
