.......Incredibly this was Barnsley’s first 0-0 draw on the opening day of a season since they shared the spoils with Queens Park Rangers in the first game of the 1964-65 in the old Third Division, but the fourth time in the last five seasons that Forest have started with a goal-less stalemate. Reds fans will be hoping that this season does not pan out the same way as it did in 1964-65 as The Reds ended that season rock bottom and were relegated to the Fourth Division.
