A Look At The Weekend Action

Last updated : 24 November 2012 By Rob Miles (BarnsleyBoy)

……… Barnsley have now lost five of their last six matches and have gone six home games without a win, their longest winless run at Oakwell since 1996.

This 2-1 defeat extends The Reds worrying run of scoring more than once in a game to just one of their eighteen league matches. They have never before gone this far into a season having scored more than once in a game in just one match.

Cardiff, who controversially changed their home strip from blue to red this season had not won in their blue away strip before today.

Simon Lappin was sent off for Cardiff on his debut today. He becomes the first opposition player to be sent off against Barnsley this season.
