Barnsley have released youngster Jamil Adam.
The 20-year-old striker came up through the ranks at Manchester City and signed academy terms with the Reds in 2007.
He was rewarded with a professional deal in 2008 and made his debut from the bench in the Reds 3-0 defeat at Cardiff on the last day of the 2007/2008 season.
He has gone on to make two more substitute appearances and has been a prolific scorer in the reserves but never really made the step up to the first team.
We wish Jamil well in his promising career.
