LAWYERS are meeting at Oakwell today in a bid to finally sort out the Ridsdale/Cryne takeover.
Solicitors acting for Ridsdale, Cryne, Barnsley Council, Doyle and the Sterling group were in talks regarding the sale of the club and its assets.
David Walker, who will join the Barnsley board of directors when the sale is complete, said: "The meeting is to identify the outstanding issues and work towards resolving them. We will not lock the door and throw away the key, there are no deadlines, we may not even attend. After all, we have a football club to run."
Once the sale is concluded, the Reds should emerge from administration within days.
