Barnard joins Aldershot

Conference Premier side Aldershot Town have signed former Barnsley and Wales left-back Darren Barnard from Grimsby Town.

The 32-year-old has won 22 Wales caps but was not in the squad to face Latvia in a friendly next week.

He goes straight into the team for the Shots game against York City where Kevin Donovan is currently playing.
