" It was a tough game but to be fair we knew it would be. I think we took our foot off the pedal a little after the first half hour when we should have really finished them off but we did not put our chances away.
We knew that Darlington would go very direct if they were behind but we defended stoutly and got our heads onto the end of their elbows literally at times. We had to be brave and we are just pleased to be in the hat.
I am disappointed not to have gone on to score more goals really because we had some good chances particularly in the second half but could not convert them.
Darlington are a good side and at times it was like Land Of The Giants out there but we defended stoutly.
We had to re-arrange at half time with Antony Kay and Chris Shuker coming off so we were forced into throwing Nathan Jarman and Robbie Williams in there. We had to reshuffle but the defence did well.
We would have lost that game last season when faced with tactics like that but I think that shows we have more resilience about us this time around. We showed resolve to get a result in the end.
Nick Colgan made one great reaction save at the end but to be fair he did not have too many others to make. They had one real chance.
I am just happy to be in the hat and would like to see who we get next. Hopefully it will be another home tie."

Barnsley Boy says: The winning run continues and it’s excellent to be in the hat but we really need to start killing teams when we have the chance. Walsall and Darlington have both let us off. Lets hope we don’t need asking a third time!
