Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie has ordered an intensive team talk after the humiliating capitulation against Doncaster Rovers last night.
The Reds were 1-0 up after 6minutes but found themselves 5-1 down after an horrific second half defensive showing and Ritchie was fuming.
He told the Official Site:
" I did not go in to see the players at all after the game because I would have only ended up throwing things around and that really would not have been productive.
We will be in early Thursday morning and will be having an in depth conversation about the game believe me.
I just feel that we have let everybody down. For 70 minutes we were doing ok and then conceded three stupid, stupid goals and we just should and cannot be allowed to do that"
Meanwhile Ritchie has revealed last night's game may force him into the transfer market for, unsurprisingly, a defender.
He told the Official Site:
" I am looking and working today to get someone in on loan. There is no surprise that I am looking for a defender.
We have not had much luck as yet and the market really has not changed that much over the last few weeks but we will be making calls today to see who is out there and available"
Barnsley Boy says: Strong words from the manager and nice to see some passion in the boss after the Hart reign. Lets just hope his words have an impact and that a new defender is brought in asap.
