Barnsley F.C survives crucial meeting!

Creditors and Shareholders today voted in favour of accepting the CVA (creditors voluntary agreement) proposed by new Barnsley owner Peter Doyle.

Basically, the old Barnsley FC has now ceased trading and has been replaced by a new company.

The Football League should now ratify the Doyle deal and the transfer embargo would then be lifted.
