Barnsley have made a triple signing spree today and the first of those is Ben Pearson on loan from Manchester United.
The 20 year old was originally born in Oldham but has progressed through the ranks at Old Trafford and impressed back in July when a United XI defeated Barnsley 2-1 at Oakwell in a friendly.
Pearson, who has represented England at Under 18 and Under 19 level, will spend an initial month with The Reds.
Boss Danny Wilson told the club’s official website:
"Ben left a lasting impression on us from our friendly in July. He is a very, very good player and will add energy and class to our midfield. I'm delighted Manchester United have allowed us to have Ben on loan."
