Reds boss Glyn Hodges warned his side that they are not yet safe from relegation.
Saturday's narrow win over Stockport put the Tykes seven points above the relegation zone with 10 games remaining.
However, Hodges told the Official Club website: "Putting seven points between us and the relegation zone is a massive boost.
"It sets things up now and we have to make sure we carry on picking up points. That is no excuse for taking our foot off the pedal and we are not safe yet.
"It is going to take a few more results to get to safety."
