A Carl Barrowclough cross set up the first for Leo Bertos to smash home from just inside the area and the tricky winger was involved again for the second as his deep cross was headed goalward and Rory Fallon put the ball in from close range.
Kevin Donovan completed another 90 minutes while Steve Hayward played over an hour and the duo will be hoping for a place in the first team squad for the Crewe game.
