Interesting Stats:
A win for Barnsley would level the head to head up at 36 wins apiece.
The last time Danny Wilson was in charge for a Barnsley game against Bradford at Oakwell was 17 years ago… and at full time The Reds were promoted to the Premier League.
That historic victory on the 26th April 1997 is the time Barnsley triumphed over their West Yorkshire rivals at Oakwell. They have drawn each of the last four and lost one in the five clashes since.
Each of the last three league meetings home or away have ended in stalemate and Bradford are unbeaten in their last eight league clashes with The Reds stretching back to that glorious April afternoon 17 years ago.
Bradford will come to Oakwell in confident mood as they boast the second best away record in the division this season. The Bantams are still unbeaten away from Valley Parade, winning three and drawing two.
They have also conceded just two goals in those five matches, the joint best record in the league along with Notts County.
However Bradford have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions and are searching for back to back league wins for the first time since the final two matches of last season.
They have not lost on the road in League One since the 21st April.

STAT! – Bradford have lost four of their last five matches on this date.
JOINT STAT! – Barnsley and Bradford are no strangers to each other on this date as they have met twice before on the 12th October, with both sides boasting one win apiece.
Back in 1985 Bradford ended a run of four successive Division Two defeats with a 2-0 home success over The Reds in what was their only win in eight matches at that time. This victory moved them up to 15th place and they would eventually finish 13th.
The defeat for Barnsley also came during a slump in their season with this reverse their fifth game in a row without a win that left them in 11th place.
The following week they lost 3-1 at Sheffield United but bounced back to win six of their next eight matches and at the end of 1985 they sat pretty in fourth.
However they suffered an horrific second part of the season winning just four of 21 games in all competitions and finished in 12th.
The second 12th of October meeting occurred 15 years ago in 1999.
It was a League Cup tie at Valley Parade that the Reds won 3-2 courtesy of goals from Mike Sheron, Chris Morgan and a Darren Barnard penalty. The Bantams replied with efforts from Lee Mills and David Wetherall.
