Coventry manager Mark Robins said:
“We took a bit of time to get going, we’re just getting used to the speed of the players that we’re playing against, QPR are expansive, they move the ball really well, and we didn’t cope with them well enough to be able to get on the ball.
“In the first half, the only bit of football we played, we scored from, it was a great time to score going into half time because then you’ve got something to hold on to in terms of giving them information to try and improve in the second half.
“We did really well in the second half, without chasing after things, we were set nicely and won the ball back and played counter attacking football pretty well.
“Callum O’Hare’s goal was an outstanding goal, we had chances from set-plays before we scored the winning goal, I’m delighted to get off the mark with three points.”
