Team News
Barnsley caretakers Mark Burton and Paul Heckingbottom are set to make changes for their first home match in charge. Burton claimed three or four of his players “threw in the towel” in the 5-1 defeat at Crawley last weekend and they look likely to miss out.
Leroy Lita is one player set to drop to the bench. The 30 year old who grabbed his first Barnsley goal against Crewe back in August (one of only two strikes he has managed for the club) made his first start since the beginning of January at Crawley but his substitute replacement Kane Hemmings scored that day- his second goal in three appearances and will likely start tomorrow for the seventh home game in a row.
Dale Jennings who did not feature at Crawley, played for the Under 21s in midweek and is at least expected to be in the squad, as will be John O’Sullivan who arrived on loan from Blackburn this week.
One definite absentee is Alex Kiwomya who has returned to parent club Chelsea whilst key players Peter Ramage and Sam Winnall are again expected to miss out.

Interesting Stats:
Barnsley face Crewe after facing Crawley, just like they did in the first two matches of the season.
This will be the third meeting in 2014-2015 with both sides boasting one win.
Of the 32 goals scored in the last 12 meetings, 20 have come in the second half.
One team has netted exactly two goals in each of the last seven clashes, and in five of those the other team did not score.
Billy Waters netted his first two senior goals in a cup win at Oakwell, and then in the league defeat four days later back in August. He has managed only one other strike for the Alex since.
Barnsley’s win at Gresty Road back on the second day of the season ended a run of five successive defeats against the Railwaymen.
The Reds have lost their last two home fixtures to Crewe with their last victory at Oakwell coming via goals from Dean Gorre and Alex Neil in a 2-0 win back in 2001.
Barnsley will be hunting their first league double over Crewe for 36 years. The last time was when they beat them 2-0 away and 3-1 at home way back in 1978-1979.
Crewe under the stewardship of ex Barnsley defender Steve Davis looked to be heading back to League Two (from where the 49 year old had brought them in 2012) when they lost each of their first five league games- including at home to Barnsley- and won only one of their opening 11, which included a staggering nine defeats.
Form has picked up since then however with 10 wins from the following 20, which has put them seven points clear of relegation and three points above The Reds.
Crewe’s midweek defeat at Doncaster ended their run of three successive victories and they arrive at Oakwell on the back of three wins from their past four away matches.
The Alex have kept three clean sheets in their past six matches.
Like Barnsley, Crewe have though lost nine times on their travels, only Crawley and Yeovil (both 10) have lost more.
They have conceded 29 times away from Gresty Road, the most in the division, and have kept just one clean sheet in their past eight away games.
Overall this season, Crewe have conceded 53 times, only Crawley (55) have conceded more.
Thanks to their bad start they have lost 15 of their 31 matches this season, only Yeovil (17) have lost more.
Their 11 victories is the best outside the division’s top ten and they have only been involved in five stalemates, the joint lowest in the league.
That is a tally they share with The Reds and there has been no draw between the teams in the last nine meetings.
Nicky Ajose, on loan from Leeds has netted in three of his last four appearances and in seven of his last 12.
