"We were below our best tonight and we were fortunate to get a point.
"I thought we started slowly and lost too many duels and challenges, they had two good challenges early on.
"We get the goal, the equaliser was a soft one to give away before half-time.
"It was two teams pushing hard at the top and they are the moments when you're not at your best and still get something out of the game, that's a vitally important point for us."
