West Brom manager Slaven Billic said:
"There is still a long way to go. It's a marathon, but it's a great position to be in.
"If we do the same in the second half of the season, I don't see how we could not finish in the top two. It feels great to be top of the league at Christmas but it's a big obligation for us."

"We wanted to finish the move straight away but that's not always possible.
