Saturday's massive South Yorkshire derby with Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell is a near sell out after the club confirmed they have sold around 20,000 tickets so far with a day of business still to go.
Wednesday fans will have the entire North Stand plus half of the West Stand which will give them an attendance of around 8,000 and other parts of the stadium are now filling up with Reds fans in readiness of a must win game.
Tickets are still available for the West Stand and East Upper but are very limited in the East Lower and Ponty End. Fans wishing to buy tickets have until close of business at 7pm today and must purchase tickets from the Lotteries office NOT the Box Office. Fans are reminded the game is ALL TICKET and no tickets will be available on the day of the game.
Meanwhile Owls boss Brian Laws has tried to stoke up fire ahead of the game by questioning Brian Howard's commitment. A booking for Howard tomorrow will rule him out of the FA Cup Quarter-Final with Chelsea the following weekend and Laws said:
"Brian Howard will be thinking very carefully now. If he gets booked he'll miss the Chelsea game. How important is that to him? We'll find out on Saturday.
