Team News
Barnsley could have a makeshift strike partnership for their penultimate game of the season. George Waring has now returned to parent club Stoke after picking up an injury that forced him to miss last weekend’s draw with Peterborough.
Sam Winnall is also a major doubt after collecting a slight hamstring strain. Head Coach Lee Johnson was keen to stress that it was NOT a recurrence of the hamstring problem that sidelined the 24 year old for the best part of three months earlier in the campaign.

Interesting Stats:
Barnsley and Bradford meet in the penultimate game of the season for the third time in 18 years. On the previous two occasions (1997 and 2006) The Reds finished that season promoted.
These two sides can barely be separated over 112 years of facing each other. Following Barnsley’s 3-1 televised victory over the Bantams back in October, both sides have now won 36 of the 102 meetings, whilst Bradford (135) have scored just ONE more goal.
However the West Yorkshire outfit just edge the league clashes, 32 to 31.
The Reds victory earlier this season is Barnsley’s only one in the past nine league meetings.
Bradford are unbeaten in their last seven home league meetings. The Reds last league success at Valley Parade was back in 1989, although they did triumph 5-3 there when they last visited, an FA Cup replay back in 2005.
Overall Barnsley have won only 12 of 51 trips to West Yorkshire, and only three of the last 12.
The Reds are looking for their first league double over Bradford since 1960-1961.
Seven days after Barnsley and Peterborough met whilst both on 58points, The Reds travel to take on a Bradford side with both teams having garnered 59 from 44 matches.
Like Barnsley, the Bantams had play-off aspirations until recently. Indeed a comfortable 3-0 win at Doncaster on Good Friday had seen them three points off sixth spot with a game in hand.
They have failed to win any of their five matches since then however, losing three.
Like Barnsley, Bradford have drawn their last two matches 1-1.
The two goals they have scored in those matches (at Scunthorpe and Sheffield United) are their only two in their past six matches and Phil Parkinson’s side have failed to score in four of their past seven outings)
Bradford have lost more than they have won at home this season, the only side in the top half of the table to have such a record and they have lost each of their last three in front of their own supporters, scoring none and conceding 10.
They have managed only seven home wins the lowest amount in the top half.
They have conceded 33 goals at the Coral Windows Stadium, the most home goals conceded amongst the top 14 sides in the division.
Bradford have also only scored 25 home goals, only Peterborough have scored less in the top half.
Bradford striker Billy Clarke has scored in each of the last four games that the Bantams have netted in.
