Barnsley have moved to sign Stoke City's American winger Brek Shea on a 28-day loan deal.
He becomes Danny Wilson's first signing since he rejoined Barnsley as manager, and goes straight into today's starting line up for the away game at Birmingham.
He joined Stoke last January, from FC Dallas for a fee of £2.5m but has only featured three times in the league due to an unlucky string of injuries. He has 25 caps for the USA.
He becomes the fifth player in recent seasons to sign on loan for Barnsley from Stoke, after Ryan Shotton, Carl Dickinson, Rory Delap and most recently Jack Butland.
The Reds starting line up for the game at St Andrews today:
Steele, Cranie, M'Voto, Ramage, Kennedy, O'Brien, Perkins, Dawson, Mellis, Shea, O'Grady.
Subs: Dibble, Wiseman, Nyatanga, Cywka, McCourt, Scotland, Pedersen.
