Carlisle United striker Michael Bridges has handed in a transfer request at Brunton Park amid speculation Hull and The Reds are hot on his trail.
Andy Ritchie has confirmed he is looking to bring in two players before tonight's deadline with a striker believed to be top of the list.
Former Leeds and Sunderland striker Bridges resurrected his career after a succession of injures left him on the football scrapheap and he helped the Cumbrians secure promotion to League One last season.
Bridges has scored 15 goals in 31 appearances for Carlisle and 19 goals in a career total of 148 appearances.
