Midfielder Jacob Burns will complete his deal to Polish Champions Wisla Krakow before the end of the week after Barnsley received an acceptable financial offer.
Burns trained with Krakow last week and his final appearance in a Red shirt now seems to be the 10 minutes he played in the 1-0 victory over Colchester on Saturday.
Burns is not included in the squad for tonight's crucial game at Bournemouth and he is expected to sign a two and a half-year deal with Wisla Krakow.
Barnsley Boy says: Jacob Burns was an excellent servant to this club and was my Player of the Year before his departure. I wish him well and sincerely hope he makes Australia’s World Cup squad this summer.
Now lets go and win promotion!
