Barnsley have today confirmed that goalkeeper David Button has extended his loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur until the 28th April- the final day of the Championship season.
The 23 year old’s initial deal ended after the 1-0 defeat to Cardiff on Saturday and the club moved swiftly to keep Button at Oakwell with the club’s three other goalkeepers, Luke Steele, David Preece and Lukas Lidakevicius set to miss the rest of the season due to injury.
