Team News:
Reds boss Keith Hill is still missing a host of first team regulars but Ben Alnwick returns from the suspension he accrued in the First Round victory over Rochdale. The 25 year old will replace David Gonzalez whose short term deal has now expired. Full-back Martin Cranie could also make his first start since his free transfer move. The former Southampton and Coventry man had appeared as a substitute in the defeats at Wolves and Brighton.

Interesting Stats:
Barnsley have won just one of their last 11 meetings with the Swans, and that was through a penalty shoot out at the Milleniumm Stadium in Cardiff to win the League One Play-Off Final and secure promotion.
Since then The Reds have drawn three and lost four of the subsequent seven meetings.
The two sides met in cup combat last season with Swansea knocking Barnsley out at the Third Round stage of the FA Cup back in January.
The two sides have met once before in the League Cup. A two legged affair in the 1981/82 season saw Barnsley triumph 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-0 home win and 3-2 away defeat.
Swansea have won each of their last three matches, all without conceding a goal. They are also one of only three teams still with a 100% record in the Premier League.
Barnsley have conceded eight goals in their last two matches, Swansea have scored eight in their last two.
The Swans are unbeaten in their last four matches at their Liberty Stadium home - a ground Barnsley have never won at from four visits. The Reds last success in this part of South Wales was way back in 1974 and in total they have won just four times in 34 trips.
On the whole, Barnsley's recent form on their travels is abysmal. Keith Hill's side have failed to win any of their last 12 matches away from home, losing 11 of them since a 2-1 success at Leicester back in January.
Barnsley have claimed a place in the Third Round of the League Cup just once in the last 10 years, but Swansea have managed it just twice in the past 29 years.
Victory for Barnsley tonight though would be their 50th in the competition.
