Paul Reid could return to the side after overcoming an Achilles problem whilst Bobby Hassell is fit to play despite limping off in the 1-0 defeat at Preston last Friday.
Dale Tonge is out for at least 2 weeks with a toe problem whilst goalkeeper Nick Colgan is suspended and Vito Mannone will make his Oakwell league bow.
Despite scoring 2 in 2 for the reserves it appears unlikely that Daniel Nardiello will even be considered for the bench.

Barnsley are looking for their first home victory over Luton Town since 1995 tomorrow but overall have a decent Oakwell record against The Hatters winning 19 of the 28 matches played.
The last time the two teams matched up however produced probably Barnsley's best display of a mediocre 2004-2005 season.
In front of the SKY Cameras at Kenilworth Road The Reds triumphed 3-1 against the run-away League One leaders who were promoted as Champions at the end of the campaign
Team: Flinders, Hassell, T. Williams (R. Williams 78), Burns, Chopra, McPhail, Kay, Wroe, Shuker, Tonge, Johnson (Nardiello 75)
Subs: Austin, Baker, Scarsella.
The last meeting at Oakwell was in the same season and was a cracker with The Reds losing 4-3 after being 3-1 down at half-time and 4-1 down after 66 minutes! Michael Boulding (2) and Stephen McPhail got the goals for The Reds.
Team: Colgan, Hassell, Williams, Reid, Vaughan, Carbon, Conlon, McPhail, Boulding, Kay (Nardiello 45), Shuker (Stallard 73).
Subs: Scarsella, Austin, Wroe.
The Reds are unbeaten at Oakwell since the opening day when they were beaten 2-1 by Cardiff City and have only lost 3 of their last 51 home league games. Luton meanwhile have lost their last 3 games on their travels and were thumped 4-1 at Cardiff on their last away trip.
This season though Luton have made a reasonable start to their second campaign in the Championship wining, drawing and losing 3 games. They sit 12th with 12 points from 9 games, 4 places but just ONE point above The Reds in 16th. In Sam Parkin Luton have a striker that is almost guaranteed to score against The Reds and in their last game they drew 2-2 at home to West Brom.
Barnsley can go as high as 9th with victory tomorrow (7th if they win by a massive margin) whilst Luton could go 7th with victory.
