Barnsley's Number One Nick Colgan has been recalled to the Republic of Ireland squad for the Euro 2008 Qualifier against Germany on Saturday 2nd September after Sheffield United's Paddy Kenny was forced to withdraw.
Colgan who's last appearance for Ireland was in a 3-0 defeat to Nigeria back in May 2004 (just before he joined The Reds) will act as back up to Shay Given along with Brighton's Wayne Henderson.
