The likes of Nick Colgan, Bobby Hassell, Paul Reid, Matt Carbon, Tony Vaughan, Jacob Burns, Barry Conlon, Stephen McPhail, Neil Austin, Antony Kay and Chris Shuker all see thier current deals run out next summer. While the futures of Vaughan and Conlon are unsure the rest are likely to be wanted beyond this season.
Manager of the Month Andy Ritchie told the Official Site: “ I have spoken to the chairman and we are hoping to start discussing new deals with players next week. We have a lot of players out of contract in the summer and we have to sit down and open a dialogue with the likes of Antony Kay, Neil Austin, Paul Reid and Bobby Hassell amongst others.
We also have to speak to Marc Richards with his deal due to run out after Christmas”
The list of players needed and not needed could ultimately depend on which division The Reds are plying their trade in come next August.
