Barnsley's young striker Michael Coulson looks set to leave Oakwell for good this month after it was revealed he is close to signing for Grimsby Town.
He joined the Mariners on loan in November and netted once in eight appearances. He signed for the Reds from Scarborough in 2006 where he bagged 9 goals in 42 appearances for the now defunct Seasiders.
He has spent time on loan with Northwich Victoria, Chester and Grimsby, taking part in 20 games overall, and scoring four goals.
He will join a squadron of ex-Reds at Blundell Park including Nick Colgan, Nathan Jarman and Barry Conlon.
