Coventry manager Tony Mowbray said:
"We always knew it was going to be an open game; we knew it was a very dangerous game.
"It ebbed and flowed a little bit, and they're a very very good team. Maybe they couldn't sustain that high intensity. The second half: what can you say? The supporters dragged the team along, we attacked with purpose, and Armstrong's second goal - if any player in the world scored that we would be eulogising that.
"I'm delighted for the fans to see the team play with the heart they showed in the second half, and I'm delighted for the players as well. Hopefully everyone's going home happy."
