Crewe manager Dave Artell said:
“The first half was good. Any manager who sees his team score four goals in 45 minutes has to be happy and I am no different. They are capable of that.
“They came out and made some changes in the second half and we found it a bit more difficult but we helped them as well.
“I am sure the fans would have gone home happy even though the second half was not as special as the first half.
“I am sure there were Carlisle fans here, who haven’t seen anything like that this season and they will appreciate the football we played.
“We scored some great goals. Chuma’s finish was terrific. Daniel Powell has scored two great finishes and Callum’s header was terrific. He showed real bravery but they don’t tend to hurt when they go in.
“When you come in 4-0 up at half time, you just have to say same again and that is not actually much you can do tactically, especially when we were so dominant.
