Barnsley have been drawn at home in the First Round of the Capital One Cup for the fourth time in five years after being handed an Oakwell tie against fellow League One outfit Crewe Alexandra.
These two sides also met at this stage of the competition back in 2008-2009 with the Alex securing a 2-0 home win.
Overall Barnsley who have won each of their last two League Cup first round ties have lost each of their last four meetings with the Railwaymen.
The tie will be played in the week commencing the 11th August.
