Danish striker Kim Christensen has today left Oakwell by mutual consent. The move could pave the way for a new striker which the Sheffield Star claims could sign today.
Christensen was signed last summer from OB in Denmark but spectacularly fell out of favour with boss Simon Davey. He made only 13 substitute appearances for The Reds (the last of which being in December) and scored 1 goal - a last minute equaliser at Charlton in October.
Christensen was recently quoted as saying his move to Barnsley was the "worst decision of my life"
