Reds boss Simon Davey has dismissed reports linking him with Carlisle United's top scorer Danny Graham.
After the move for Chesterfield's Jamie Ward fell through today many believed Davey would move for 23 year old Graham who has hit 14 goals for the struggling Blues and was the subject of a failed £250,000 bid from Huddersfield this week.
However, Davey, whilst admitting they have been scouting Graham says no deal is forthcoming and now with the Ward deal dead and buried there will be no new faces in for Saturday's game with Southampton.
Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"Danny (Graham) is a player I have been to watch and we have had scouts look at. We have not made an offer and it is not something we will be pursuing."
Meanwhile Davey also admitted they would accept bids for flop striker Kayode Odejayi. The big Nigerian who has hit just five goals in 62 apperances has become a target for the Oakwell boo-boys and Davey said a move may be in his best interests.
The Reds are without Rob Kozluk, Hugo Colace, Anderson De Silva and Diego Leon this weekend with Darren Moore, Jamie Cureton and Jon Macken set to return.
