Craig Davies could be about to win his first international cap in four years after being recalled to the Wales squad for their 2014 World Cup Qualifiers against Scotland and Croatia next week.
Davies, who scored four goals in the Reds recent 5-0 win at Birmingham has eight goals in 11 appearances this campaign.
The 26 year old won the last of his five Welsh caps in a 3-0 victory over Norway in February 2008 whilst in League One with Oldham Athletic and he is called up into Chris Coleman’s squad after the withdrawal of Craig Bellamy.
Wales are currently bottom and pointless of Group A after losing their opening two games- 2-0 to Belgium and 6-1 in Serbia.
