The Reds are set to be plunged into more crisis after sources in Lancashire revealed that striker Craig Davies is set for talks with Bolton Wanderers.
Davies, who has hit nine goals in all competitions this season has already told the club he doesn't intend on signing a new contract ahead of his current deal expiring in the summer so the Reds are set to cash in.
He hit the national football headlines in September with a four goal show live on Sky in the Reds' 5-0 away win at Birmingham, but he has only scored once since, ironically at the Reebok, against Bolton.
He has netted 19 goals in 53 appearances since joining in June 2011 on a free transfer from Chesterfield.
More to follow when it happens.
