Ex-Reds striker Liam Dickinson has left new club Plymouth Argyle, just a week after sealing his move to the League Two outfit citing personal reasons as his motive behind leaving.
Dickinson had a nightmare spell at Oakwell after joining in June 2010, making just four appearances in the red shirt. He also had a spell on loan with Keith Hill's Rochdale.
Plymouth's acting chairman, a certain Peter Ridsdale said:
"Regrettably, we have agreed to a request from Liam to be released,"
"We fully understand the reasons why," added Ridsdale.
"Liam has been a thorough professional in the short time he has been with us, and we hope that things will work out for him,"
Meanwhile, former Barnsley left-back Matt Hill has joined fellow Championship side Blackpool on a one-year deal.
