Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed tonight that Barnsley are tying up the final details to bring in defender Joe Dudgeon on loan.
The 23-year-old left back who was born in Leeds started his career at Manchester United but left for Hull in 2011 where he has made 41 appearances.
The former Northern Ireland Under 21 international was an ever present for the Tigers in 2012-2013 until suffering a serious knee injury in the October which ruled him out for the rest of the season.
He made just two appearances last season; both in the Capital One Cup but signed a new one-year contract this month.
