Glyn Hodges has to decide whether to change a winning team after the crucial 1-0 victory over Mansfield Town yesterday.
Regular first team players Bruce Dyer, Gary Jones, Chris Morgan and Lee Crooks missed the win over the Stags but could come back into contention, although Kevin Betsy, Antony Kay and Brian O'Callaghan certainly did well enough to keep their places.
The Reds still need another win to be certain of avoiding relegation while Crewe need the points to hold onto the second automatic promotion spot so it should be an entertaining encounter with plenty of goals.
Good news for the Reds is Rodney Jack (a regular scorer against us) is doubtful with a leg injury though with Steve Jones forming part of a three-pronged attack with the prolific Rob Hulse and Dean Ashton, I would be surprised if Chris Morgan doesn't return to the centre of defence in place of the unlucky O' Callaghan.
