Barnsley have this morning completed the signing of Nottingham Forest's former Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay on loan.
The 29-year-old joins on a deal until January, with a view to making the move permanent in the next transfer window.
Tudgay began his career with Derby County, turning out nearly 100 times for the Rams, scoring 17 goals. His form at Derby earnt him a move to Hillsborough in 2006.
In 187 appearances with the Owls he scored over 50 goals and his record saw him sign for Nottingham Forest after a successful loan spell in 2011.
But he has slipped down the pecking order this season after the arrivals of Billy Sharp and £2m signing Simon Cox.
