Stephen Dawson is definitely out with ankle ligament damage but Jim O’Brien could return after missing the Ipswich draw with a dead leg. Jim McNulty also missed that game with a hamstring injury and will probably not be risked with a crucial league game against Millwall on Tuesday.
Fringe players such as Bobby Hassell, Kelvin Etuhu and Danny Rose are all pushing for starts. Teenager Rose has netted in two of his last three substitute appearances including in the Third Round victory over Burnley.
