Fjortoft becomes Lillestrom director of football

Norwegian outfit Lillestrøm have appointed former Barnsley striker Jan Aage Fjortoft as there new Director of Football.

Fjortoft signed for the Reds from Sheffield United in February 1997 while we were in the Premiership.

In November 1998 he left Oakwell to sign for German Budesliga side Eintract Frankfurt before retiring three years later.
