Flinders Earns Another England Call Up

Young goalkeeper Scott Flinders has ended a bad weekend on a good note for Barnsley by earning another call up for the England U20s.
The Young Three Lions take on Holland at Burnley's Turf Moor on Sunday 9th October. Scott will be hoping for a better return to Burnley after playing in The Reds 3-0 cup defeat there last week.
Meanwhile Reds boss Andy Ritchie has decided against appealing to have Antony Kay's red card against Doncaster rescinded. Ritchie initially claimed he would appeal but later told the Official Site:
" We have decided against it. In real time it looked as though the tackle was not bad but Antony has gone in a little high. We will not appeal"
This means both Kay and fellow dismissed Neil Austin will miss the games with Bristol City, Tuesday night, Oldham Saturday and Rotherham the following Saturday.
