Barnsley manager David Flitcroft has finally signed the contract that keeps at the club until the end of the season.
“Flicker” was appointed permanent manager on the 12th January after a 2-0 victory over Leeds United but due to the amount of games Barnsley have faced since, it has taken until this two week break for the 39 year old to put pen to paper.
The contract only takes him until the end of the 2012-2013 season with any further negotiations on hold until the club confirms which division they will be spending 2013-2014 in.
When pressed on future plans Flitcroft would only say : "That is something that will be discussed at an appropriate time."
